Ignite – Bleeding Lyrics
Bleeding, Bleeding
To my country
The mounting costs
My freedom’s lost
The death of liberty
We live in a Kingdom of reigns
The dogs of war rule the day
The hypocrites roam in gangs
The truth is lost
It’s wars first casualty
Speak the truth
If you’ve got something to say
To lead the boys off to war
Is to throw them away
Depleted rounds kill
RU-238
These troubled times
Bringing on our darkest days
Is this the death of liberty
Is this the price that life has come to mean
All our friends, now enemies
The misery of
Bleeding, Bleeding
To my country
The mounting costs
My freedom’s lost
The death of liberty
Tell the truth
If you’ve got something to say
No blood for oil, killing fields
Halliburton money
Wounded troops left to rot
No help from the VA
These troubled times
Bringing on our darkest days
Is this the death of liberty
Is this the price that life has come to mean
All our friends, now enemies
The misery of
Bleeding, Bleeding
To my country
The mounting costs
My freedom’s lost
The death of liberty
Speak the truth, Speak the truth or Throw it away
Is this the death of liberty
Is this the price that life has come to mean
All our friends, now enemies
The misery of
Bleeding, Bleeding
To my country
The mounting costs
My freedom’s lost
The death of liberty
Thrash Metal is a mix of metal and hardcore/punk. You need to go back to metal school 101.
Recent crap? You need to listen to new album one more time.
Not even close to Among the Living! Period!
Melodic hardcore?…whats the next?…neoclassical ambient punk?…OMG
This is punk. If you think it’s something else, you’re a retard
Of course that not, but they came back
whats wrong with “melodic hardcore”? it’s a pretty common tag for hardcore music which doesn’t sound like Madball, Lionheart, Liferuiner or Hatebreed.
It could have been worse.
this suck!
I cant believe that they’re still alive and kicking. love Ignite <3
In the 80’s hardcore punk bands were influencing thrash bands and vice versa so today these genres have many similarities, though Ignite is definitely not metal.Actually I won’t argue, no moreYou know shit about hardcore so shut the fuck up and educate yourself
_–_
I think it’s a cover of a Dying Fetus song. I can’t remember which right now, but it’s just like it.
That statement is actually true… funny because everyone is so terrified of being associated with anything “core”.
Yeahhhhh!
Nice to see a band playing actual Hardcore.
Hey guys, we are giving away FREE video games ( Medal of Honor Warfighter, Call of Duty Black Ops 2, Watch Dogs, Diablo 3, StarCraft 2, Battlefield 3, Fifa 2012 and MANY others ). Check out our channel NOW.
been a while since there has been a good punk-hardcore whatever band.. .nice
These guys are pretty good.
that ain’t no metal, its punk! :O
Wow, why haven’t I heard this before, this is amazing!
but you have to admit it sounds like anthrax
melodia bacana!!!
It’s hard to define this in any style or label, really, though melodic hardcore/punk is probably the best description.Personally, this wasn’t bad. The vocalist has a good singing voice, considering I thought he be another barker (which I don’t mind either).
I hope your not telling me that I don’t know shit about hardcore/punk because I know so much about it. Btw I like real Hardcore/Punk not this new bull-shit that people are calling Hardcore because that is not Hardcore. Real hardcore is GG Allin, Black Flag, GBH, Exploited, DK, and more.
I know it’s true and why the hell people thumbs down something that is true. I love old school hardcore/punk and Grindcore.
You might want to look up some Japanese Hardcore/Punk bands. They play and sound just like the old school hardcore bands did in the 70’s and 80’s.
There are still many real hardcore bands. Hardcore is not just 80’s hardcore, just like metal
what does it do with this? this is not HC or Trash. This is some power-pop.Educate ursefl.
i dont like the singing its def better than greenday but still annoys me
There are so many fake hardcore bands out now it’s not even funny and the same can be said about metal as well. A lot of the Japanese bands play real hardcore. There are a few that sound like that new bull-shit but most of them keep to that old school sound.
Sounds like Rise Against.
finally! I been waiting to hear something good for a while. These days i wouldnt go into what genre a band is because it has all been and still being melded together. Not everyone listens to one genre so when someone who enjoys many sounds starts a new band, people are going to hear similarities, only a fucking idiot worries about genres anymore if you like it you like it if you dont you dont everything sounds like everything evolution meets reinvention old meets new becomes recycled sound.
You sound like you spend way too much time reading about music genres and not actually listening to it.
please give me some links to watch those japanese bands..thanks.
give us HD 1080?
no such thing as melodic Hardcore…the whole genre was an aggressive off branching of punk music starting in New York…punk music is the carefree fuck you attitude and Hardcore adopted the same look and style, and melody was never a big part of either genre…Look at Sid Vicious of the Sex Pistols, could barly sing and they had a better singer originally, but his attitude and stage presence is what made him such a good frontman…Hardcore usually puts an emphasis on rhythm rather than melody
@1080pmedia fuck you spammer
Melodic thrashcore is nice lol.
“No such thing” as melodic hardcore? What about Black Train Jack, Lifetime, Kid Dynamite, Grey Area, and on, and on, ad infinitum?
i love metal, and nevermind if this is melodic/punk/metal/rock/hardcore….really,nevermind. Just love this band.
Yeah, I like this song. I hope that we we’ll find again. So…
if this is hard core at least its not tha mhosohshjs stuff that you cant understand even if you read the damn lyrics so i give it a thumbs up
Ignite is still one of my favor HC- bands since their first release in 1993. I saw them a year later in Belgium playing for 200 people and the last time i seen them was in 2007. They where still good, but Zoli prayed to much for better this and stop doing that…. The old songs are still the best and in that time the band played with 4 and the sound was really good.
